Growing up near “Mayberry, NC”, Keith Casstevens,
a pastor’s kid,cut his teeth listening to quartet music.
After joining his first group at just 12 years old, he realized
singing would be a part of his life forever. He managed his own
group for years before joining the ANCHORMEN in 2006. His powerful
lead voice and warm personality make him a fan favorite everywhere
he goes. His day’s home, you can usually find Keith doing
the “Honey Do” list and spending time with his wife
and their three children.
Tenor Karl Rice, from Charleston, SC started singing with his
dad at 10 years old. Other experience includes a Major in Vocal
Performance at the School of the Arts in SC as well as traveling
with regional groups before coming aboard with the ANCHORMEN.
His amazing tenor voice, harmonica playing and emcee work brings
audiences to their feet everywhere they perform. During his downtime,
you can find him enjoying time with his family and playing around
with acoustic instruments such as the guitar, dobro and mandolin.
Michael Bartlett brings years of experience to the ANCHORMEN.
Raised a preacher’s kid, he was exposed to all sorts of
Christian music through out his life. He has a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Church Music from Southwestern Christian University
in Oklahoma City, OK. Before joining the ANCHORMEN, he traveled
with “One Voice”, a progressive music ministry team.
His experience in various types of Christian music helps make
an ANCHORMEN concert appealing to all ages. On his days off,
Michael enjoys writing his music and fishing.
Bass vocal Paul Harkey grew up singing most of his life in his
home state of TX. He was heavily influenced by great bass singers
such as J.D. Sumner, George Younce, Tim Riley and Richard Sterban
just to name a few. Audiences are captivated by Paul’s
deep rich voice every night. After graduating from Wayland Baptist
University in Plainview, TX with a Music Degree, he later became
minister of music in Lovington, NM before joining the ANCHORMEN.
Paul is single and enjoys dirt bike riding during his free time.
